The restaurant occupies what was previously a small cafe space, and the exposed concrete and industrial-style fittings of that earlier business remain part of the current interior, giving the dining room a casual, loft-like character rather than the woven textiles and dark wood more commonly associated with Southeast Asian restaurants in Taipei.

The kitchen is run by Indonesian staff and focuses on home-style dishes rather than a banquet-style menu. Nasi goreng prepared with shrimp paste is one of the more frequently mentioned items among diners, served with a fried egg, shrimp crackers, and sliced tomato and cucumber on the side. Another regular order is ayam goreng kalasan, a turmeric-marinated fried chicken associated with the Kalasan area near Yogyakarta, coated in a crisp fried topping and paired with a choice of sambal, including a milder Balinese-style chili sauce for diners who prefer less heat.
