In July 2024 BNI moved its Singapore branch out of Cecil Street and into 30 Raffles Place, a tower most people in the city still know by its older names, Chevron House and Caltex House. The bank took the twenty sixth and twenty seventh floors and calls them BNI Tower. The move put the branch a short walk from Raffles Place MRT, and the bank cited easier access for customers as the reason.
BNI describes this branch as its first overseas office, opened in 1955, and as the only Indonesian bank holding a full bank licence in Singapore. Both statements come from the bank rather than an independent register. What can be said plainly is that it operates as a licensed bank branch under the Monetary Authority of Singapore rather than as a representative office, which is the distinction that matters when deciding where to hold money.
For Indonesians living in Singapore the branch functions more like a bank at home than a remittance counter. It handles current and savings accounts, deposits, personal payments and transfers, corporate lending and syndicated loan arrangements, and wealth management. Remittances to Indonesia are the service most households come for.

BNI keeps a second point in Singapore, a remittance centre at City Plaza on Geylang Road reachable on 6745 1946. It is listed separately in this directory and is the easier option for anyone sending money from the east of the island rather than from the financial district.
An ATM sits on the third floor of the Raffles Place building and can be reached without visitor registration, which matters in a tower where the upper floors are access controlled. Counter hours are not published on the bank's own site, so calling ahead is sensible.
